In this post I will be discussing the functionality of a Zplugin called the Subtool Master from a beginner’s point of view. In the video provided I run through the most useful parts of the plugin and demo a few of the options. This tool helps one save time when working with multiple subtools and was designed with that in mind. A lot of the menu options like Export and Insert/Append have additional options that enable one to adjust settings for export and import multiple meshes at once into the subtool palette. It’s a tool that works simultaneously with the subtool palette, and in a way enhances it.
Overall, I’m really glad I discovered the Subtool Master, and at least for me will become a frequently used tool. It greatly reduces one’s time when working with subtools, mirroring geometry, merging subtools and finding and renaming duplicates and doing other tasks commonly used when working with subtools.
